My First REAL blog entry

Now that I know the component is working - how about a REAL entry!

I am currently working on finishing the Switching Puppies to Raw section of the website.  I hope to have the last to page up and running tomorrow (Tuesday) night.

I also need to start adding more pictures to the website.  It's a slow process but it's getting there!!

So, what's new around the ranch??  Well, Kaynya went into season last week and Mauser and Spike have been driving us NUTS!!  Constant howling, whining, trying to jump the gate to get upstairs where Kaynya's crate is located (she's only in there until she's finished).  Mauser chewed a hole through the bathroom door trying to get to her!!

Anyone that wants to keep intact males and females together - think TWICE.  Then think about it one more time and, trust me, DON'T DO IT!! :)  We get spoiled being able to let the whole gang out together.  Now we spend a large amount of our free time rotating dogs.  We will be VERY happy when she's finished!! :)

Dear RDR,
How come you never reply to any of the messages sent to you thru this website. I wanted a diet plan made for my puppy.
Thank,
Adeel and Endal.

I switched my 8 month old German Shepherd to raw about 3 weeks ago, and my, "What a difference!" We have been battling diarrhea with her since bringing her home at 8 weeks of age and numerous trips to the vet and medications. The diarrhea always resurfaced. Three days after going raw, perfect stools! My wife was always complaining about the smell of the dogs ears prior to the switch, her nose is every bit as good as the dogs. The other night, she said, "I just realized, I don't smell the dogs ears anymore". Her teeth are crystal white and looks very healthy. This past May, we had to put our Golden Retriever down due to lung cancer, he was 1 month shy of being 6 years old. We battled ear problems with him forever. We tried every kind of natural, organic dry food on the market, but no changes. I only wish I had found your site earlier. You have done a great job. Thanks! Wayne

Thanks for taking the trouble to pass along this information. We switched to prey model raw for our 2 dogs and one cat in Apr/2011. It was a HUGE change for us and what convinced us was the large number of breeders/kennels/average owners promoting this approach - and with great success - and, most importantly, with nothing to "flog". Just for the love of the dog!

After five months, we notice absolutely remarkable improvement in their teeth and dramatic decrease in output from the nether end! Astounding!

Admittedly, we had our small challenges with transitioning but in retrospect, these were small challenges (well, its still a challenge for our cat - typically).

Thank you.
