Once the legs appear you need to break through the membrane holding them to the skin.  In the picture below it's the area where the X is marked.  You can either use a knife to break through or just jab your finger through.

Once the legs are freed you can pull the skin off them to release them.

At this point the only thing left is the head.  I use the shears to cut the head from the body - dropping the head and the entire skin into the tub.
